Banking for Trade Unions

Unity is the UK’s only trade union bank, established by trade unions over 30 years ago. We provide banking services to over 50 trades unions, of which over 90% are TUC affiliated.

As a trade union customer, you will benefit from joining a bank which is founded on and guided by the same principals, while also enjoying access to a specialist Trade Union Relationship Manager.

Trade Union head offices – call us on 0345 140 1000 or email utb@unity.co.uk to speak our specialist Trade Union Relationship Management Team who will discuss your banking requirements and provide a negotiated tariff.

Trade Union branches – if your head office has a ‘group’ arrangement with us, and you wish to join this group, please complete our Trade Union application form or call us on 0345 140 1000 or email utb@unity.co.uk to request a paper copy. Where applicable, fees should be set by your head office.

How we make a difference

We are a bank established to serve the needs of our customers and enrich society as a whole.  We work with organisations that aim to have a positive impact on society through economic, community or social change.

Our people support charities and communities through our ‘Unity in the Community’ (UitC) programme.  The Unity team is actively involved in volunteering and fundraising events  organised throughout the year.  Good causes are nominated by our people to receive donations.
