Steve previously held senior roles as Regional Director, Barclays, Invoice Finance with The Royal Bank of Scotland, and more recently he was Regional Director, Lloyds Bank, Commercial Banking.
Margaret Willis, the Chief Executive Officer of Unity Trust Bank, said: “Steve is an energetic, commercially focused leader and I am delighted that we have been able to secure an individual with such broad experience and whose values are so clearly aligned with ours. Steve’s appointment, will enable us to build on the material progress we have made in the last three years, further develop lasting relationships with SMEs and amplify our social impact.”
Steve Clarke, the new Director of Commercial Banking, added: “I’m really excited about working for Unity and with my new team. The prospect of working for a bank who only lends to organisations and SMEs who share our values and philosophy is really exciting.”
