2) Topping up your employees' ALTO cards

Once you have ordered cards for your employees, there are two options for how you can top these up with more funds:

Option 1

You can use Internet Banking to arrange for a Bill Payment or Bacs payment from your existing bank account to go straight to the float account, using the details below:

Bank: Barclays Bank
Account Name: NBS re CorporatePay
Sort Code: 20-59-42
Account Number: 53328759

When doing this, please note that for the payments to be routed to the account without delay please include just your ALTO account number as the payment reference. This eight-digit number is shown prominently under 'View Account Details' when you log in to the ALTO card website at www.altocard.co.uk

Payments made using this process will be subject to the usual Bill Payments / Bacs transfer timescales.

Before using this option for the first time, in addition to being a registered Internet Banking user, you should complete an Online access request form. This gives you access to the online system and will enable you to top up your employees' cards online.

Using the Continuous Transfer Authority form, you can register for regular transfers to your float account on a specific date for any length of time. This works in a similar way to a standing order.
