How it works
If you are involved in a charity, voluntary or community group that has or is currently in discussions with a public body over the possible transfer of an asset to you to enable you to develop it as a community facility then you may well qualify for a loan under this scheme.
The application process is the same as applies for any bank loan. We will want:
- To see that your organisation is properly constituted, and has the powers to borrow funds for this purpose
- To see that you have a robust business plan in place for your development, detailing costs and how you intend collect income and pay the loan,
- That there is a need for the type of development that you are proposing
