Bill Payments

Based on listening to customer feedback, Unity launched its bill payments service as an electronic way of making one off payments to anyone, at any bank, anywhere.* All you need to know is the destination sort code and account number.

*As long as recipients bank accepts electronic transactions.

What should I Use Bill Payments for?
Bill Payments can be used for any one off payment for example, paying a supplier. It is simply like an online cheque, but differs from a Standing Order where payments are made on a regular basis e.g. every month.

How do I register for Bill Payments?
Once registered for Internet Banking, you will automatically be set up for Bill Payments. To start using the service, select the account you wish to make the payment from and select the Bill Payment button. From here follow the simple step by step process to build a library of beneficiaries.

How do I make a payment?
Once you have created and authorised a beneficiary, all you need to do is input the amount and date you require the payment to be made. You can add beneficiaries to your library at any time and can schedule payments for up to six months in advance.

Is it secure?
Unity has developed detailed security plans and implemented comprehensive security policies to protect its website from potential risks.

The Unity site is completely secured by SSL - Secure Sockets Layer. For further information on the security of the Unity site, see the links on the Internet Banking log in page.

Dual Authority
